This activity aims to increase opportunities for the beneficiaries to learn/develop values and beliefs that undermine the attraction of VE groups and behaviors in 2014. This activity will conduct 30 street theatre performances based on two scripts which will involve 10 local youth as actors thereby facilitating dialogue with community members to help them reflect and internalize possible impacts of community issues and discuss probable solutions for the same. This activity will be implemented in Sultanabad/Hijrat Colony which is amongst the most extremist influenced areas of Karachi. The grantee will leverage locally-based facilitators to identify venues for performances to increase outreach to the audience. Moreover, the grantee will coordinate with KYI alumni youth to support this activity.
