An Effort to Create Awareness for ADHD & Dyslexia
Dyslexia and ADHD are not very popular topics of conversation in Pakistan. Kazim Trust and ZAHRSSS Productions collaborated on a street play in an effort to raise awareness on ADHD & Learning Disabilities. The aim of this play was to spread awareness about learning difficulties and show the difference between how people perceive ADHD and Dyslexia verses what they actually looks like. Until parents are informed about it or do their own research, most people don’t know what exactly ADHD and Dyslexia are. Thr ugh the means of theatre, we wanted to help people see what ADHD and Dyslexia are and that there is hope for children suffering from these disabilities. It was intended to be a fun way to approach a serious and growing issue. We want to show parents that ADHD is not a disease and that their children can live happy and normal lives with a little help.
