ZAHRSSS performed Street Theatre in 2018 collaborated with “Team Moxie” and a project of IHDF.
Initiator Human Development Foundation focuses on transforming the slums of Karachi, precisely, Mai Kolachi, Azam Basti and Chanesar Goth into a more developed and a safe place to live. The aim is to counsel the people of the slums regarding self-care and how health and hygiene are directly related to each other. IHDF organizes street theatre with the people of the three communities which includes children as well their parents to make them understand the importance of keeping their surroundings clean along with themselves. The parents are informed about ways to improve their hygiene standards which would then be followed by their children; also they should enforce good hygiene practices within the household.
